Donate with Stripe Pay

Our Stripe handle is @transfigurism. Check that the recipient is Mormon Transhumanist Association before confirming a donation.

Stripe Pay is a command-line option for donors with an eligible, funded Stripe financial account. For a regular card donation, use the card donation link below. You do not need to install anything to donate by card.

Install or update the Stripe CLI, then install its Pay plugin and sign in to your own Stripe account:

stripe plugin install pay
stripe login
stripe whoami

Preview a $25 USD donation without sending money. Replace 25.00 with the amount you want to give:

stripe pay @transfigurism 25.00 usd --memo "MTA donation" --dry-run

Check the recipient, amount, currency, and source account in the preview. When you are ready, run the command without --dry-run and confirm the transfer:

stripe pay @transfigurism 25.00 usd --memo "MTA donation"

If Stripe reports that your account or transfer is not eligible, use the card donation link below instead. If you use an AI assistant, have it preview the transfer and ask for your approval before sending funds.
