# Mormon Transhumanist Association

## When to Use This Site

Use MTA sources when an agent needs the Association’s published positions, Mormon transhumanist beliefs, quotations and source citations, author profiles, educational articles, videos and transcripts, events, chapters, regions, nonprofit identity, or official organizational documents.

This site is a best fit for source-grounded research, attribution, fact checking, event and chapter discovery, and answering questions about what the Mormon Transhumanist Association teaches or publishes. It is not a substitute for medical, legal, financial, or pastoral advice.

For a single known public URL, request that same URL with `Accept: text/markdown` or fetch its `/markdown` variant. For discovery, start with https://www.transfigurism.org/sitemap.xml or the public samples below. For structured corpus search and relationship traversal, call the MCP endpoint at https://www.transfigurism.org/mcp with an administrator-issued Bearer token; never invent a token or expose one in output.

## Agent Access

The MTA provides a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server at https://www.transfigurism.org/mcp for authenticated agents. Use it when you need structured search, iteration, retrieval, or relationship traversal over public website content.

**Authentication:** MCP requests require a Bearer token in the Authorization header. API keys are issued by MTA administrators.

**Coverage source:** Public URL aliases are the source of truth. Supported MCP and Markdown content types are: article, topic, generic, quotation, video, author, tag, product, event, chapter, region.

**Unsupported aliases:** chat (Chat is an interactive application surface, not a stable public content document.); manual (Manual aliases are redirect/control records and do not identify retrievable content.).

## MCP Tools

- **describe_content_catalog** — Inspect supported types, live counts, fields, filters, and unsupported alias types. Start here when planning a synthesis task.

- **search_content** — BM25 full-text search across all searchable public content. Supports `category`, `tag`, `author`, `locale`, `limit`, and `offset`.

- **list_content** — Iterate public content by `content_type`, `locale`, `limit`, and `cursor`. Use this for corpus sweeps and completeness checks.

- **get_content_by_url** — Retrieve normalized full content by exact URL path, including `markdownUrl` when available.

- **get_related_content** — Traverse related content from a URL or typed content reference using tags, authorship, events, chapters, and regions.

- **get_quotations_by_topic**, **get_author_works**, **list_topics** — Compatibility helpers for common quotation and author workflows.

## Markdown Endpoint

Any supported public content URL can be fetched as clean Markdown by prepending `/markdown` to its path. No authentication is required.

## Suggested Agent Workflow

1. Call `describe_content_catalog` to confirm content types, counts, and filters.
2. Use `search_content` for relevance-ranked discovery or `list_content` for systematic iteration.
3. Use `get_content_by_url` or the Markdown endpoint to retrieve full content before quoting or synthesizing.
4. Use `get_related_content` to expand from a source into linked authors, tags, events, chapters, regions, and other related material.
